Digitisation of elections in Australia induces new vulnerabilities that malign foreign entities can exploit to subvert our democratic sovereignty. Despite this threat landscape, according to this paper, Australia’s digital-analogue hybridity safeguards federal elections from hard cyber security risks that might seek to directly tamper with votes and data.

Evaluation of the Cashless Debit Card in Ceduna, East Kimberley and the Goldfields Region: consolidated report


This evaluation provides evidence about the outcomes of the Cashless Debit Card (CDC) in the first three trial areas in which it was rolled out. The purpose of this evaluation was to create a new, integrated evidence base and use it to assess the impact of the CDC.

‘There’s a wall there—and that wall is higher from our side’: drawing on qualitative interviews to improve Indigenous Australians’ experiences of dental health services

The aim of this study is to obtain a greater understanding of people’s perceptions, experiences of oral health, and the barriers and enablers that prevent Indigenous Australians from seeking timely and preventive dental care, using qualitative methodology.
