Review of the impact of the TEQSA Act on the higher education sector


This review, conducted by Deloitte Access Economics, was positive about the establishment of TEQSA as the national regulator in 2012, and noted that the higher education sector's views regarding the regulatory system established by the Act, and TEQSA as the regulator, are positive.

This project aimed to enhance Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander university student engagement and retention. Specifically, this project attended to the notion of the ‘university place’ and provides information and two tools that universities can use to help optimise the persistence and educational outcomes of Indigenous Australians.
