As of 16 November 2022, Jobs and Skills Australia (JSA) commenced as an Australian government statutory body. The government established JSA as a statutory body to provide independent advice on current, emerging and future workforce, skills and training needs.

Jobs and skills roadmap for regional Australia: phase 1
The roadmap provides an overarching national framework to empower stakeholders to work collaboratively to improve the equity, effectiveness and efficiency of the jobs and skills system across Regional Australia. It identifies cross-cutting themes, develops performance indicators and provides an overall assessment of the way forward with ten policy principles to inform and shape future policies.

Strong and responsive VET pathways
This report presents national data on the graduate pathways of vocational education and training students who completed their qualifications in 2019-2020. Graduates had improved income and employment rates and reduced reliance on income support after training.
