Mapping the digital gap: Gäṉgaṉ NT 2026 community update report

Gäṉgaṉ Homeland is a remote inland community in East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. This update report assists understanding of the barriers to digital inclusion in the community. It presents research findings to date, compares survey results from 2022 to 2024, and outlines changes in communications and media services and usage during and since visits.

This submission responds to the NSW Legislative Council Inquiry on Data Centres, focusing on planning frameworks, governance, transparency and accountability. It argues for a whole‑of‑life public accountability framework that treats data centres as major infrastructure, and sets out 9 recommendations to strengthen regulatory oversight, environmental protection and public‑interest outcomes in NSW.

2025 Australian election advertising on social media

This report demonstrates that misleading information flourishes in online election advertising and lacks transparency and accountability. Misinformation, scare tactics and messages exploiting cost of living pressures of ‘every day’ struggling Australians is central to both online and other election ads. The report proposes five recommendations to strengthen transparency and improve election advertising online.

Mapping the digital gap: Galiwin'ku, NT 2026 – community update report


Galiwin’ku is the largest Yolŋu community in the East Arnhem region. This update report is intended to assist local and regional agencies, leaders and residents to better understand the barriers to digital inclusion, develop local strategies to address these barriers, and support planning and partnerships with government and industry stakeholders.

Visualising generative AI with collage


This project uses collage to expose and critique the language surrounding generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). It supports critical AI literacy by highlighting the social, political, cultural and environmental stakes of the GenAI industry and its vested interests. It also aligns with emerging arts‑based approaches that challenge, question and resist contemporary AI technologies.
