The state's first comprehensive framework developed to address the digital divide. The strategy aims to ensure all people in NSW can access, afford and safely engage with digital technologies and online resources, while maintaining offline options for essential services. It establishes an all-of-government strategic framework to direct policy, action and investment towards enhancing digital inclusion.
The strategy is a key deliverable under the NSW digital strategy. It is framed around five pillars: connectivity, affordability, digital ability, accessibility, and digital trust and safety.
The strategy was co-designed with input from digitally excluded communities, the public, government agencies, non-government organisations and industry.
There are Easy Read versions of the strategy, divided into two parts. Translated versions are also available in Arabic, Greek, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Vietnamese.
