This independent review considers the current legislative, policy and operational frameworks used in the ACT to initiate, run, and manage effective work health and safety prosecutions.

This review’s central finding is that the model WHS laws are largely operating as intended, but this final report includes 34 recommendations to improve clarity and consistency, including undertaking further review and analysis in certain areas.

This discussion paper has been developed to inform a public consultation process in the first half of 2018.
