The report reflects high-quality, thoughtful submissions and extensive engagement with a wide range of stakeholders. It contains five recommendations for priority action, and raises issues for further discussion to inform the Review’s final report.

The Teacher Education Expert Panel was established by the Australian government to improve initial teacher education (ITE) to boost graduation rates and ensure graduating teachers are better prepared for the classroom. This final report includes 14 recommendations to improve teacher training and better prepare teachers for the classroom.
