The UK current performs strongly on job creation, with each record low unemployment statistic celebrated in the national media. But why do we not have any similar measures for understanding quality of work and how we can make work better? This report considers the practical challenges of implementing national job quality measurement in the UK.

This project engaged directly with people who want to explore and talk about kindness in their work, their lives and their communities, and test whether we should, and indeed could, do anything to support and encourage kinder communities.
