This literature review was conducted at the beginning of the Community Partnerships project. The project provides the opportunity for communities to take up the challenge of exploring new and more effective ways of working with young children and their families.

The literature review has provided a strong evidence base for why and how services need to move to a more comprehensive and coordinated service system, at a local level. The project will use this evidence to resource local communities in embarking the pathway towards this new way of working in order to acheive better outcomes for young children and their families.
