Automated Decision-Making + Society
The ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S) brings together universities, industry, government, and the community to support the development of responsible, ethical and inclusive automated decision-making. ADM+S draws on the humanities, social and technological sciences.
ADM+S research is designed to expand, integrate, and apply knowledge of the dynamics of automated decision-making. In order to achieve this, the research intersects four research programs: data, machines, institutions, people; with four focus areas: news and media, mobilities, health and social services.
The Centre is funded by the Australian Government through the Australian Research Council.
“The APO provides an invaluable platform for publishing and sharing our work. It provides a highly accessible repository for our reports, working papers, and submissions. The team are responsive and knowledgeable and their promotion of our outputs through weekly newsletters helps extend our reach to policymakers, industry, and government stakeholders. The APO plays a key role in amplifying the visibility and impact of our research, and we highly value the platform.” - Kathy Nickels, Communications and Engagement Manager, ADM+S
