This paper sets out what economic resilience means and why it matters, the performance of the Queensland economy pre-COVID-19 and the initial effects of the COVID-19 response. It concludes by identifying some broad principles for building resilience and productivity and discusses the main (state level) areas of policy that can be harnessed to improve resilience.

This report draws on the literature and case studies to build a balanced, objective picture of the economic and social benefits of Indigenous Ranger programs. The report explores the various factors underpinning the success of ranger programs and presents a compelling case for continued funding.
