Western Australia (WA) is experiencing an ongoing housing crisis. To address this crisis, the WA Government committed $24.4 million to develop and implement the WA Rent Relief Program. This impact evaluation of the program assesses the program’s effectiveness in addressing immediate client needs and identifies long-term improvements in housing stability and financial wellbeing outcomes.

Reimagining the role of lodging in ending homelessness: an evaluation of Foundation Housing's Lodging and Support Services


The Foundation Housing Lodging (FHL) Lodging Accommodation and Support Service provides a contemporary model of lodging houses and an effective long-term housing solution at low-cost. In this research, CSI UWA adopted a co-design evaluation approach to gain an understanding of the impact and cost-effectiveness of FHL's suite of lodging, support and engagement activities.

Supporting families facing homelessness: Centrecare's Entrypoint Outreach Program


Centrecare’s Entrypoint Outreach Program (EPO) was a preventative early intervention pilot funded by Lotterywest designed to divert families and individuals from homelessness into housing. The brief intervention (2–6 weeks) targeted families who were newly homeless or were at immediate risk of homelessness in a very tight rental market.
