The United Kingdom needs a comprehensive green industrial strategy for the wind sector, bringing together deployment targets and the enabling expansion in wind manufacturing. The authors of this paper set out a series of coordinated industrial policies for the wind sector.

This publication sets out what makes up an industrial strategy, the tools policy-makers have at their disposal to influence the size and shape of new green markets, and ultimately - how to begin applying this strategy.

This report recognises that any successful implementation of a UK green industrial strategy will require a coordinated set of policy instruments, particularly those providing financing for investments in net-zero economic activities.
