This research project is the result of a partnership between the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Centre for Media Transition. The project’s aim is to explore the ways in which journalists navigate the often-treacherous terrain of ethics in conflict zones.

This review of literature and research covers the topics of diversity and localism. This includes an exploration of how it can be measured over time across the variety of news sources being consumed.

The Centre for Media Transition’s regional news project started in late November 2017 and since then, the state of regional news media has become a more pressing issue.
