Disengagement from online misogynistic incel communities and its implications for attitudes to gendered violence
Online communities of ‘incels’ (involuntary celibates) have become synonymous with the promotion of misogyny and violence against women. This study used a qualitative survey of self-identified former incels to determine motivations for disengagement, strategies to facilitate disengagement, and whether and how their attitudes towards violence against women changed with disengagement.

The relationship between pornography use and sexual violence in Australian men
Concerns have been raised regarding pornography’s influence on sexual violence, particularly among men. Questions remain regarding the strength of this association, including among Australian men, and its underlying mechanisms. The study provides valuable information to inform measures to prevent and counteract any potential negative impacts of violent pornography on sexual behaviour.

Perpetration of sexual violence in a community sample of adult Australians
This research examines rates of self-reported sexual violence perpetration among a community sample of adult Australian residents. Data for this study were drawn from an online survey of Australian residents aged 18–45 years. The broader purpose of this survey was to understand the relationship between pornography use and sexual violence perpetration and victimisation.
