The purpose of this research project was to investigate whether the family protection orders (FPOs) in Papua New Guinea, introduced under the Family Protection Act 2013, were being accessed by, and improving the safety of, domestic and family violence survivors.

This report details the results of a study into the the uptake and efficacy of family protection orders, in Lae, PNG.
