Families Australia was established in 2001 as a national, member-based, not-for-profit organisation that strives to improve the wellbeing of families and children. Families Australia convenes the National Coalition on Child Safety and Wellbeing, comprising non-government organisations and researchers who are committed to advancing the national campaign on child safety and wellbeing in Australia

Safe and supported: first action plan 2023-2026
This first action plan of the the national framework for protecting Australia's children represents a commitment from all Australian governments to build stronger futures for children. It was developed in consultation with the National Coalition on Child Safety and Wellbeing.
