The TAFE sector in Victoria is made up of 12 technical institutes and 15 controlled entities. This report outlines the results of, and observations arising from, the financial audits of the entities within the sector, and our observations, for the year ended 31 December 2018.

Victorian health services are increasingly using information and communications technology (ICT) to deliver healthcare, and to capture and store patient information. This audit assessed whether Victorian public health services' ICT security practices effectively protect patient data.

This audit examined the reliability of agencies’ attestations of compliance with the Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF). The audit included all seven departments in place at the time of the 2018 attestation.

This audit assessed if the Local Government Performance Reporting Framework (LGPRF) communicates performance information that is relevant, timely, accurate and easy to understand for councils and the community.

This audit assessed whether local councils accurately document infrastructure assets in their information systems and use this data in their asset management and planning.
