Affordability of communications services for low income households
In 2017, the Bureau of Communications and Arts Research found that the affordability of communications services in Australia had improved overall. In general, consumers were getting better value as prices stayed the same or fell, while product inclusions (such as data) increased. This paper updates and extends that analysis.

In response to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s ACCC Digital Platforms Inquiry, the government requested that Screen Australia and the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) co-author this options paper considering how to best support Australian stories on our screens in a modern, multi-platform environment.

Smart cities down under: performance of Australian local government areas
This report presents the findings of a study conducted at the Urban Studies Lab of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), that placed Australian local government areas under the smart city microscope to evaluate their performances. The study also generates insights for understanding the reasons behind the performance differences of local government areas.
