The people interviewed and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre call for the immediate evacuation of the 80 people remaining in Papua New Guinea, permanent resettlement for all, and a Royal Commission into offshore detention.

Towards an optimal employment strategy for people seeking asylum in Victoria
This report aims to promote collaboration and highlights opportunities to strengthen a sector-wide, multi-agency approach. It is hoped that this report will build greater awareness of the immediate challenges faced by asylum seekers navigating the local labour market, and serve as a tool for policy and service providers to advocate for change.
