This report invites you to explore the unique ‘reworlding’ methodology and its impact on urban design policy in Melbourne, Australia. 

Over the past four years, the future play lab has developed and delivered over thirty projects in public spaces establishing methods of reworlding in diverse contexts and communities. 

Using examples from projects and interviews with affiliated researchers, educators and playmakers, this report outlines how the work of the lab directly translates into strategies for teaching and learning, play design methods, policy and strategies for Melbourne’s future development.
