Description
This mapping report is a special report under section 31 of the Ombudsman Act 1974, and an initiative by the NSW Ombudsman to increase visibility in the use of automated decision-making systems (ADM systems) across the New South Wales public sector.
The additional report is a compendium of automated decision-making (ADM) systems reported to be in use or in development by NSW public sector agencies and local councils.
The research was commissioned by the NSW Ombudsman and undertaken by researchers at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S).
