Intimate partner violence among current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force personnel and families
In Australian-first research, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) commissioned Phoenix Australia to examine the rates of intimate partner violence among current- and ex-serving Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel, using data collected in 2015 from a large-scale study of current (at the time) and recently (then) transitioned ADF personnel and their families.

Factors that shape the gambling attitudes and behaviours of older adults in Victoria
The aim of this study was to explore the interplay of individual, socio-cultural, commercial, environmental and other associated factors that may create pathways for older adults into community gambling venues, and the factors that may influence the range of gambling and non-gambling behaviours within these venues.

Young people’s awareness of the timing and placement of gambling advertising on traditional and social media platforms: a study of 11–16-year-olds in Australia
This research argues that there is now a clear body of evidence that current regulatory systems for gambling advertising are ineffective, with further restrictions urgently needed across a range of media channels to prevent exposure to promotions that may encourage young people’s interest and involvement in gambling.
