Description
The benchmarks evaluate current policy settings to see how well they meet the needs of workers with care responsibilities. They provide a set of research-informed policy recommendations that put respect, work, care and gender equality at the centre of public life as the foundation of a productive and growing economy. The benchmarks recognise and support the interconnections of work and care in six key domains:
- decent work that supports decent care
- leave from work to care
- sustainable high-quality care infrastructure
- gender pay equality
- safe and respectful workplaces
- institutional support for decent work and decent care.
