Description
Australia's peak body for social services has released its health election policy priorities. Its policy proposals are designed to reduce the worst service gaps in health care for people on low incomes, and end some of the waste in the system.
It makes four recommendations under these themes:
- Invest in health promotion and prevention programs
- Make dental care affordable for all
- Abolish the Private Health Insurance Rebate
- Abolish the Extended Medicare Safety Net
