Description
Data-driven innovation has allowed consumers to search for better products and deals instantaneously and allows providers to price discriminate based on minute-by-minute demand analysis, but it also creates opportunities for collusion.
In response to tech development, the ACCC now has a Data Analytics Unit which has been deployed in a number of market studies the agency has undertaken, as well as to support the work of ACCC investigations teams and economists.
